Only You Can Love Me This Way

Oh to blog again.

It’s been so long since I’ve actually felt like blogging, but today is a blogging day :)

Spring break is here and I’m so relieved that winter quarter is over.  It was extremely hard to play catch up when I let everything fall behind so fast.  I never learn.  It’s a bad habit.  Hopefully (as I say every quarter..) spring quarter will be better.

I kicked off spring break by going to PV and attempting to go to the beach with Jon.  Unfortunately, it was too damn cold to even get in the water.  Where the sun was.. I have no idea.  So Jon and I switched gears and I put on my best learning hat and tried to long board.  I won’t be long boarding around campus anytime soon, but I still had fun :)
Yesterday, I went to the LA Zoo with Jon.  God, I love being with that boy.  We walked for hours around the whole zoo and there was never a boring moment.  The animals were awesome.. and at times smelly, but it was still really cool.
We hung out at Jon’s house afterwards.  I love his house.  It’s so cozy.  There’s just something that I really like about it.  If I didn’t have to go home, I probably would have stayed there all night :P

Sigh.

That Jon.  I just can’t get him off my mind.

Anyways, my mom is in Texas and I can’t wait for her to get back.  I miss her a lot.  My dad’s awesome, but sometimes you just need mom around :)

Since I have some extra time, I’m going to read for fun!  A rare occasion I should take advantage of !

I haven't cared this much about my grades for a long time.

I guess it's about time I actually took an active interest in them. I always say I hate studying, but I think it's starting to grow on me.. How incredibly nerdy right?

I just want to see those A's again and I can't get them by messing around anymore.

Secrets

It's a damn beautiful and windy day outside.
I'm stuck inside figuring out structures of chemicals. WHY?

It's been a tiring weekend.
I got up at 4am yesterday for a WDMA event. It rained. It was cold. So tiring, but fun.. except for the part where my phone officially died on me :(

Also got Thai food with Jon last night. The food was delicious.
And Jon was looking good :P

The lady laughed when I asked for the Lovers Honeymoon (it was like a dish with shrimp and pineapple stuff). How dare she!? D:

Today Was A Fairytale

Life is beautiful! :)

(For those of you who don't know... I got into an accident on the freeway.)
I'm just happy that I'm alive and that I still get to live my life.

I mean, it's sad, but it takes something like a near death experience to get me to realize that should appreciate things in my life. Although, I'm probably just going to go back to my usual habits in about a week..

Hey. I never said I was perfect and habits die hard.

Seriously though, I really am happy that I get to be with the people I love and care about. When I lost control on the freeway, I couldn't help but think this can't be it. There's still so much to do in life. I'm a lucky girl in more ways than one. I've got people who care about me and people I care about very much. I think that's all you really need.

On another note, I had a great Valentine's Day. Thanks cheerleader :)

Normally I wouldn't promote such a commercialized "holiday" (well.. let's face it.. what holiday ISN'T?), but I thought I'd spread a little love this year. This isn't a day just for couples.. it's a day of love for everyone (Yeah.. I just said that :P).

So to all of you who are reading and to those in my life, I hope this Valentine's Day you find love. And for those of you who don't believe that you'll find love.. look harder. There's love waiting for you in some shape or form. You'll find it in your family, friends, lovers, pets, your favorite song, that delicious cup of coffee that makes your day every morning, and yourself. Don't ever doubt that.
